BizKids Experience the Real BizWorld |
| This
June, six lucky students from Singapore made a visit to the BizWorld
Headquarters in San Francisco. Generously sponsored by BizWorld
contributors in Singapore, the students were awarded the trip for
winning a BizWorld Singapore competition held in the fall of 2003.
As part of their visit, the students got a chance to see the real
“BizWorld,” visiting entrepreneurial enterprises around
the Bay Area. The tour included visits to the offices of Draper
Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ), Eccentuate, TIF Ventures, ePlanet, Homestead
and AuctionDrop.

Expands to South Korea |
The
BizWorld program is rapidly expanding internationally with classes
in over 16 countries and BizWorld affiliate offices in Singapore
and the Netherlands. This July, BizWorld Foundation Executive Director,
Catherine Hutton, traveled to Seoul to welcome the newest addition
to the BizWorld family, BizWorld South Korea. Launched in conjunction
with Kids&Future, an organization dedicated to projects that
invest in youth, the partnership will make the BizWorld programs
easily available to all South Korean students.
